My research interests:
I am interested in how humans use multimodal signals (gestural and prosodic) to aid their comprehension of discourse level phenomena. I investigate this using experimental methods. I am also more broadly interested in the underlying cognitive mechanisms involved in the comprehension of non-literal, ambiguous or subjective meaning.
