Ziele der Vorlesung

Ziel dieser Vorlesung ist die Vermittlung grundlegender Kenntnisse der Statistik und Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie.

  • Probabilities and Discrete Random Variables
  • Continuous Random Variables and Laws of Large Numbers
  • Parameter Estimation
  • Statistical Testing
  • Computer Simulations and Monte Carlo Methods

Vorlesungsmodalitäten:

  • Präsenzvorlesung
  • obligatorische Tutorialteilnahme mit regelmäßigen Übungsblattabgaben
  • Notwendige Voraussetzung zur Klausurzulassung: erfolgreiche online Abgabe von Lösungen der Aufgabenblätter
  • Eine schriftliche Klausur wird im Juli stattfinden
