International colloquium on Systems Theory and Control Engineering (2023)

From November 1-3, 2023, about 50 specialists from Europe came to the Saarbrücken campus to share their latest research in the field of systems theory and control engineering. The speakers at the conference included distinguished scientists Frank Allgöwer from the University of Stuttgart, Michel Fliess from the Ecole Polytechnique in France and Kurt Schlacher from the University of Linz, Austria.

The conference was held on the occasion of Professor Joachim Rudolph's 60th birthday. It was organized by his former doctoral student Dr.-Ing. Amine Othmane (now a research assistant at Professor Kathrin Flaßkamp's Chair of Modeling and Simulation of Technical Systems at Saarland University) together with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Woittennek (UMIT Tirol), Dr.-Ing. Nicole Gehring (Johannes Kepler University Linz), doctoral students Abdurrahman Irscheid and Peter Scherer as well as Frank Paulus-Rieth from Saarland University.
