Research

The research at the Chair for Systems Theory and Automatic Control at Saarland University is dedicated to the maintenance and further development of the methods for the analysis and synthesis of dynamic systems (mathematical modeling, structural analysis, identification, simulation, design of controls and in particular regulations as well as methods for their technical realization), on the other hand the use of the developed methods to solve scientifically demanding tasks, especially in the technological field. As basic disciplines, system theory and control engineering are open to application and interdisciplinary cooperation with various university and non-university partners is natural. Focuses result from the classification in the field of Systems Engineering.
