Advanced Materials Science and Engineering

AMASE is an international Master's programme that provides in-depth expertise in materials science and engineering. You can choose from a wide range of possible specializations: metals; polymers and composites; smart surfaces; manufacturing technology; and nano-/biomaterials. You will study at two of six European partner universities and graduate with a double degree. The programme also offers language courses, key skills training and courses covering intercultural communication and awareness. Financial support is available from a number of sources including the EU's Erasmus+ mobility programme and through the Franco-German University – an organization created by France and Germany to promote academic cooperation between the two countries.

German Law and Comparative European Law (LL.M.)

This internationally oriented Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme offers a thorough grounding in German law to legal practitioners who trained outside Germany. You will master the fundamentals of German law and European comparative law, specialize in at least one area (e.g. civil law) and develop the skills required for independent academic work. Graduates will be awarded the Master of Laws qualification LL.M. – an internationally recognized degree that enhances employability. You can align the topic of your Master's thesis with your preferred legal field, and the broad range of modules offered enables you to build your individual professional profile.

Each year, this one-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme in European and International Law draws about 75 students from around the world to Saarbrücken where they learn from more than 70 highly respected international experts from academia and legal practice. Graduates from the programme take up positions in European and international organizations, global law firms, corporations and associations, as well as in national governments and public administrative bodies.

This part-time, distance-learning MBA blends business and strategic management with a strong focus on practical applications. Teaching is based on the case method, and the programme offers individual specializations in fitness economics, sports economics, health management or workplace health management. The programme is delivered jointly by Saarland University and DHfPG – a private university of applied sciences in the field of preventive healthcare and health management.
