Linguistica e didattica dell'italiano nel contesto internazionale LIDIT (M.A.)
The Master's degree programme 'Linguistica e didattica dell'italiano nel contesto internazionale' is a joint programme organised by Saarland University and the University of Salerno (Università degli studi di Salerno) in Italy. Students spend the first year studying in Salerno, the second year is spent in Saarbrücken.
Students acquire an understanding of the theories and practical methods applied in Italian linguistics research and in the field of foreign language teaching. They learn the skills needed to undertake independent research work and become acquainted with the basics of how research is organized. In addition, students on the programme gain competence in specialist teaching skills in the field of Italian as a foreign language, particularly with respect to teaching in an adult education environment. Practical training and work experience projects enable students to gather relevant experience in linguistics and foreign language teaching methodologies.
Graduates from the programme find employment as researchers at universities and academic institutions, they also work in the field of foreign language teaching, particularly in adult education, in administrative and management positions in the cultural sector, in the media (television, radio, the press), in publishing and in educational institutions and academic and scientific organizations.
Schwerpunkte des Masterstudiengangs sind die italienische Sprachwissenschaft und Fremdsprachendidaktik, wobei insbesondere sprachwissenschaftliche, sprachpraktische, literatur- und kulturwissenschaftliche sowie praktische Studienelemente im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Studierende müssen Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen im Umfang von insgesamt 120 Credit Points erbringen:
- 12 CP Sprachpraxis: Sprachkompetenz Italienisch bzw. Deutsch
- 24 CP Sprachwissenschaft: Spezialisierungsmodul Sprachwissenschaft / Italienisch
- 24 CP Didaktik: Spezialisierungsmodul Didaktik des Italienischen
- 12 CP Literatur-, Kultur-, Medienwissenschaft: Spezialisierungsmodul Literatur, Kultur und Medien in Italien
- 12 CP Praktika: Lexikographisches Praktikum und Fachdidaktisches Praktikum
- 12 CP Interdisziplinäre Studien
- 22 CP Masterarbeit + 2 CP Verteidigung
In den ersten beiden Semestern ist ein verpflichtender Auslandsaufenthalt an der Università degli studi di Salerno vorgesehen.
