Excellence in teaching – Outstanding research

'Our goal for Saarland University in the coming years is to achieve international recognition for the research and teaching conducted in the universities three core fields 'Computer Science', 'NanoBioMed' and 'Europe'. We aim to build on that recognition and achieve the status of a 'University of Excellence' by establishing two successful clusters of excellence, by supporting research in innovative academic and scientific fields and by delivering a convincing overall concept.'
