UNIBOOST cancellation conditions

The quality of the UNIBOOST offers, which are mostly free of charge for you, as well as that of our instructors is very important to us. However, this is often associated with high costs for us. Unfortunately, it often happened in the past that the course places were booked up quickly, but the courses were then only moderately or poorly attended. In order to guarantee the capacity utilisation of the courses and to give interested persons on the waiting list a chance to get a place, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Courses (free of charge)

The booked UNIBOOST course can be cancelled free of charge up to 3 working days before the start. In case of non-participation without timely cancellation, a nominal fee of 5 EUROS is due, which will be debited from the specified account after the course. By booking the course you agree to our cancellation conditions.

Workshops (free of charge)

The booked UNIBOOST workshop can be cancelled free of charge up to 5 working days before the start. In case of non-participation without timely cancellation, a nominal fee of 20 EUROS is due, which will be debited from the specified account after the course. By booking the course you agree to our cancellation conditions.

Courses and workshops (with costs)

The course/workshop can be cancelled free of charge up to 5 working days before the start. In case of non-participation without timely cancellation, there is no right to a refund of the course/workshop fees. By booking the course/workshop you agree to our cancellation conditions.

Excursions (with costs)

At the end of the registration period, it is clear whether the booked UNIBOOST excursion can take place or has to be cancelled, e.g. due to a lack of participants. In this case, the registration will be cancelled and the fee will not be collected.
If the excursion can take place as planned, UNIBOOST is entitled to charge compensation for the arrangements made, expenses and costs incurred in the event of cancellations after the registration deadline, provided that no substitute person is found by the cancelled party within 7 days of the cancellation date. In case of no-show, the full course fee will be retained.
UNIBOOST is entitled to cancel excursions due to unforeseeable events. In this case, the registration will be cancelled and any course fee already collected will be refunded. There is no further claim against UNIBOOST or the university.
