Kick-Off "SOUNDS of Society"

Get to know SOUNDS

Recap of the event

SOUNDS invited to a public kick-off at the Innovation Center on Campus Saarbrücken. The event had two non-exclusive focal points, so that participants could choose their focus or attend the whole event:

  • Morning – scientific focus: SOUNDS of SOCIETY & SOUNDS of CODING (from 09:30)
Research topics and methods, networking research, identifying shared focal points and developing perspectives. With welcome, keynote, poster session, and a speed-dating format for getting to know each other, networking, and initiating future collaborations.
  • Afternoon – societal focus: SOUNDS for SOCIETY & SOUNDS in DIALOGUE (14:00 to 17:00)
Taking up needs, shaping impact, and strengthening collaboration – carrying it into society. With keynote, welcome addresses, and interactive dialogue formats to identify questions from business, administration, and society, initiate new collaborations, and promote the transfer of scientific findings into practice.

At midday there was a joint break with catering, and after the event there was the opportunity to keep networking at SOUNDS Beats and let the day wind down in a relaxed atmosphere.
