Depuis décembre 2022, Rosa M. Navarrete travaille en tant que chercheuse postdoctorale et maître de conférences à la chaire de sciences politiques axée sur l'intégration européenne et les relations internationales au sein du Département d'Études sociales européennes de l'Université de la Sarre.

Auparavant, elle a été chercheuse postdoctorale au MZES (Université de Mannheim), associée de recherche à la Chaire de gouvernement comparé de l'Université de Mannheim, associée de recherche pour le projet "Democratic dissatisfaction in Southern Europe : the political consequences of the crisis" à l'Université de York et associée de recherche à l'Université autonome de Madrid.

Elle a étudié l'histoire (B.A. + M.A.) à l'Université Complutense de Madrid et a terminé son M.A. en démocratie et gouvernement à l'Université autonome de Madrid. En 2019, elle a obtenu son doctorat en sciences politiques à l'Université de Mannheim. Dans sa thèse, elle a étudié l'effet des orientations gauche-droite sur le comportement politique. 

Ses recherches portent sur les méthodes de texte en tant que données, la politique comparée, la politique européenne, le comportement politique et l'impact de la numérisation sur les attitudes politiques. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans Electoral Studies, Party Politics, JEPOP, Comparative European Politics, European Politics and Society et Frontiers in Political Science.
