Das Career Center und die Stabsstelle Chancengleichheit und Diversitätsmanagement möchten mit dieser Veranstaltung einen sicheren Raum schaffen, um offen über den Einstieg ins Berufsleben mit einer Beeinträchtigung zu sprechen. Gemeinsam möchten wir Fragen rund um Bewerbung, Vorstellungsgespräch und Berufsstart diskutieren – beispielsweise: Muss oder möchte ich eine nicht sichtbare Einschränkung im Bewerbungsprozess ansprechen? Welche Erfahrungen machen andere? Und welche Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten gibt es?

Die Veranstaltung bietet Raum für Austausch, persönliche Erfahrungen und praktische Impulse für einen selbstbestimmten Karriereweg.

Bewerbungstraining für Frauen: Selbstbewusst die eigenen Stärken in Bewerbung und Vorstellungsgespräch hervorheben

Du möchtest dich auf eine Stelle bewerben, bist dir aber unsicher, wie du deine Stärken überzeugend präsentierst? Du fragst dich, wie du deine Erfahrungen optimal im Lebenslauf hervorhebst oder im Vorstellungsgespräch selbstbewusst von deinen Qualifikationen überzeugst?

Dann ist dieser Workshop genau das Richtige für dich! Die Referentin Julia Barden (www.juliabarden.com) ist Psychologin mit Berufserfahrung im Recruiting, unter anderem bei der Deutschen Bahn und der Commerzbank. Sie unterstützt Frauen dabei, ihre Kompetenzen sichtbar zu machen und sich im Bewerbungsprozess authentisch und selbstbewusst zu präsentieren.

Im Workshop reflektierst du deine individuellen Stärken und lernst, diese gezielt mit den Anforderungen von Stellenausschreibungen zu verknüpfen. Du erfährst, worauf Personalverantwortliche bei Bewerbungsunterlagen und Vorstellungsgesprächen besonders achten und wie du deine Qualifikationen überzeugend herausarbeitest. Neben den klassischen Bewerbungsstrategien gehen wir auch auf typische Herausforderungen ein, denen Frauen im Bewerbungsprozess begegnen können, und entwickeln Strategien für einen selbstbewussten Auftritt.

Nach einer kurzen Einführung suchst du zunächst eine für dich interessante Stellenausschreibung aus. An dieser konkreten Stelle arbeitest du anschließend den gesamten Workshop über: Du analysierst die Anforderungen, identifizierst deine passenden Stärken und überträgst diese gezielt auf Lebenslauf, Anschreiben und Vorstellungsgespräch. Außerdem entwickelst du überzeugende Antworten auf typische Fragen im Vorstellungsgespräch und erhältst Raum für individuelle Fragen und Feedback. Ziel des Workshops ist es, dass du deine Stärken erkennst, selbstbewusst kommunizierst und mit einem sicheren Gefühl in den Bewerbungsprozess startest.

Der Arbeitseinstieg in Deutschland kann einem überfordernd erscheinen, insbesondere wenn man mit den rechtlichen Grundlagen des deutschen Arbeitsmarktes nicht vertraut ist.
Dieser Crashkurs bietet eine klare und strukturierte Einführung in die wichtigsten rechtlichen Grundlagen, die internationale Studierende kennen sollten, bevor sie in den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt einsteigen.
Die Veranstaltung besteht aus einem 1,5-stündigen Vortrag, der von einem Mitarbeiter der Arbeitskammer des Saarlandes gehalten wird. Der Vortrag behandelt zentrale Themen wie Arbeitsverträge, Tarifverträge, Minijobs, Krankschreibungen, Urlaubsansprüche und Kündigungsregeln. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Vermittlung zuverlässiger, leicht verständlicher Informationen, die Ihnen helfen, sich hinsichtlich Ihrer Rechte und Pflichten auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt zurechtzufinden.
Im Anschluss an den Vortrag findet eine 30-minütige Frage-und-Antwort-Runde statt, in der Sie die Möglichkeit haben, Fragen zu stellen und Punkte zu klären, die für Ihre persönliche Situation relevant sind.

Getting a job in Germany can feel overwhelming, especially when you are unfamiliar with the legal foundations of the German employment system.

This crash course provides a clear and structured introduction to the most important legal basics that students should know before entering the German job market.

The event consists of a 1.5‑hour lecture, delivered by a staff member of the Labour Chamber of Saarland (Arbeitskammer des Saarlandes). The lecture covers key topics such as employment contracts, collective agreements (Tarifverträge), Minijobs, sick leave, vacation entitlements, and termination rules. The focus is on providing reliable, easy‑to‑understand information that helps you navigate your rights and responsibilities in the German job market.

After the lecture, there will be a 30‑minute Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and clarify points relevant to your own situation.

Trainer: Mariana Stoicev is a Labor Law Adviser at the Arbeitskammer des Saarlandes, where she works in the project “Labor Law Advice Center for Migrant Workers.” She specializes in supporting migrant employees who may be unfamiliar with their rights and obligations under German labor law. Her work focuses on issues such as employment contracts, wage claims, dismissal protection, maternity protection, and several other aspects of labor law. Mariana regularly advises individuals facing challenging or precarious working conditions and helps them understand their legal options. She is committed to providing clear, practical guidance and empowering workers to assert their rights with confidence.
