Finding a partner university
You can search the MoveOn portal for universities that have partnerships with Saarland University or even with individual departments.

Application deadlines
Each partner university sets its own application deadline, meaning there isn't a single deadline for applying to go abroad. If you would like to apply to go abroad via the LST Departmental Erasmus Office, please get in touch with us and let us know which partner universities interest you. Contact us no later than 1 March if you plan to go abroad in the following winter semester or by 1 September if you plan to study abroad in the following summer semester. We can then nominate you for a place at potential host universities. If you are accepted by one of the host universities, you can then apply as an Erasmus student.
Please get in touch with the LST Departmental Erasmus Office by email to find out the exact nomination and application deadlines for your preferred host university.
Please note
It is not possible enrol in courses from the Conference Interpreting or Translation Master's programmes at the University of Geneva or Heriott Watt University Edinburgh. If you are enrolled as a Master's student at Saarland University, you can apply to these universities, but you will only be permitted to enrol in courses from the Bachelor's programme.
Please check partner university websites to see whether courses open to Erasmus students are only offered in the Master's or Bachelor's programmes. If you have not yet completed a Bachelor's degree, you should only apply to partner universities that offer courses at the Bachelor level for Erasmus students, as you may not be permitted to enrol in graduate level courses. If you are a Master's student and apply to a host university where your subject is only offered at the Bachelor's level, please keep in mind that any credits you earn abroad may not be counted towards your Master's degree.
