Mostafa Ahmadinejad is an external PhD student at the chair of Administration, in particular Controlling at the University of Saarland since September 2018.

He first studied Business Accounting from 2005 to 2007 at the Allame Tabatabaie University of Uromieh (Iran) with the degree of Senior Diploma. He has been given his bachelor’s degree from 2007 to 2009 at the Shahid Dr. Chamran University of Kerman (Iran) in the field of Accounting. He then continued his studies at the University of Isfahan (Iran) in 2009 with a master's degree in business administration with the majors "Controlling", "Accounting and Finance" and "Auditing", and graduated in 2011 with the master's thesis “Relationship between environmental uncertainty and mangers use of discretionary accruals for earning smoothing in TSE’’.

He has taught various specialized accounting courses for 9 years and was faculty member in Islamic Azad University of Piranshahr (Iran) branch for 6 years. The research focus of Mostafa Ahmadinejad is the Cost Stickiness and Behavioral Managerial Accounting.
