Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter)

The Charta der Vielfalt is an employer initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions, supported by the association of the same name. At its heart is the Diversity Charter, by signing which members commit to recognising the diversity of society and creating an appreciative working environment for all employees - regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and belief, sexual orientation and social origin.

German Diversity Day

On the occasion of the German Diversity Day, proclaimed by the Charta der Vielfalt association, a variety of activities around the topic of diversity take place at the university every year.

2023, a colourful programme of lectures, trainings, information stands and networking opportunities on various diversity dimensions took place over the course of a month. Here you can find a review and an overview of the full programme.

In 2022, a Diversity Week took place for the first time.
