The Family Office

We provide advice and information, including on childcare issues, and we support parents on campus - whether you work or study at Saarland University or are a manager committed to family-friendly working conditions. 
The topic of care responsibilities is also important to us. 
We treat your enquiries confidentially.

We promote a diverse and varied concept of family. This includes all parentchild communities, such as single parents, stepfamilies, rainbow families, married couples, cohabiting couples, sibling relationships, and the individual care of elderly people or people in need of assistance in the same household.

Einen Überblick über das breite Angebot der familienfreundlichen Maßnahmen der Universität des Saarlandes (UdS) bietet die Broschüre Familie – Eine Dimension der Vielfalt. Darin finden alle Interessierten einen Überblick über die Maßnahmen zur Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Studium oder Beruf.
Die Broschüre wurde von der Stabsstelle Chancengleichheit und Diversitätsmanagement (CDM) anlässlich des Dialogverfahrens der audit berufundfamilie GmbH Service (6. Oktober 2023) erstellt.
