"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights"
(Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
March 21st has been declared "International Day Against Racism" by the United Nations.
On this occasion, the UdS expressly formulates its clear stance against racism and any form of group-related enmity:
In a place where people from 140 nations, of all ages and genders, with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds learn with and from one another, there is no place for racism.
If you have experienced or observed discrimination and/or racism at Saarland University, please feel free to share your experiences (anonymously) through our questionnaire or to contact us directly via email to diversity(at)uni-saarland.de.
The AG Antirassismus (anti-racism working group) also aims to contribute to the implementation of anti-racist measures at Saarland University. You can find more information about the work of the AG on the homepage of the AG Antirassismus.
