Funds for Teaching and Studies

Information on the utilization of study fees and compensation funds

Since the summer term of 2010, Saarland University does not charge any study fees. As a substitution, the federal state provides compensatory funding for supporting teaching issues.

All students and university staff members can submit proposals for the improvement of the quality of teaching.

In order to standardize the procedure we have developed internet-based forms for the departments of Chemistry, Pharmacy, and Materials Science.

Please, submit your applications for funding exclusively through these forms.

After the applications submission, you will receive a password via e-mail, which will allow you to change or adjust your applications until the submission deadline. Please keep a record of your passwords.

You should only submit your application to the department in which you carry out your studies and therefore would profit from the improvement. It is an advantage if you coordinate your application with the relevant contact persons from your field: These are the elected student representatives and the study coordinators from each field of studies. You can also approach the student councils.

Here it goes! – The Application Forms

The deadline for application forms for the summer term projects is January 16th
and July 16th for winter term projects.
