Due to its strong link to industry and the government, Queensland University of Technology is known as “the university for the real world”. It focuses on research in relevant areas including climate change, digital media as well as material science. The two campuses offer a variety of activities ranging from theaters, to the Science and Engineering Centre to a large selection of student clubs.
