Moodle Language Courses I and II (MLCs I and II)

What are the MLCs? Are they required? Where can I learn more about them?

The MLCs are Moodle-based (i.e. interactive) language courses that run parallel to the in-person Language Courses (Intermediate I and II) offered by various instructors in the department. They are not designed to replace the in-person language courses. Rather, the aim is to give you extra practice and help you prepare for the Language in Use exam. They consist of seven units, each of which revolves around one specific vocabulary topic and one more more grammar topics, followed by an end-of-course test. 

The MLCs are a compulsory Prüfungsvorleistung. This means that you have to complete both MLCs in order to sign up for the Language in Use Intermediate exam. We strongly recommend completing MLC I whilst taking Language Course Intermediate I and MLC II whilst taking Language Course Intermediate II. Taking both MLCs in one single semester is not recommended.
