Prerequisites for attending

Analysis I-III
Linear Algebra I-II
Stochastics I-II


The three most common concepts of statistical inference are

  • point estimation,
  • confidence regions,
  • hypothesis tests.

In this lecture course, these three concepts are introduced and analyzed on a sound mathematical level.

The lectures will be given in the form of slide shows in MS Teams (Thursday, 10-12). More informations are announced in the Moodle area.
