Graduate college 1276 "Strukturbildung und Transport in komplexen Systemen"

The focus of the graduate college is the investigation of physical problems arising in structure formation, transport and response phenomena in complex fluids, soft condensed matter and biophysically relevant systems.

Common to the problems envisioned in the Research Training Group is an interplay between different length and time scales, as well as the presence of externally controllable fluxes through the system in question. Examples are transport processes in biological systems or in other systems driven out of thermal equilibrium.
