Academic Calender

Courses in the winter semester normally begin in mid-October and end at the beginning of February, followed by a two-week examination period.

Courses in the summer semester normally begin in mid-April and end in mid-July, followed by a two-week examination period.

There are semester breaks between semesters and a two-week Christmas break at the turn of the year.

Winter semester 2023/2024

  • Start of the main teaching period: 23 October 2023
  • End of the main teaching period: 9 February 2024
  • Non-teaching period (end-of-year break): 25 December 2023 to 1 January 2024

Summer semester 2024

  • Start of the main teaching period: 15 April 2024
  • End of the main teaching period: 26 July 2024
