East China Normal University (ECNU) is located in Shanghai in the east of the country. Over 32,000 students from over 130 countries worldwide currently study at the public university. East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) has a strong focus on research and is located in Shanghai, China. The university has two campuses in the Shanghai districts of Xuhui and Fengxian. Offering a wide range of study programmes, it is particularly renowned for its departments of chemistry and materials science.

Tianjin University
Founded on 2 October 1895, Tianjin University is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in China. It is located in Tianjin, in the north-east of the country.
