I'm a doctoral researcher in Prof. Vera Demberg’s group since January 2021. I am affiliated with the DFG-funded SFB 1102 Project "Information Density and Linguistic Encoding", working on project B2 "Cognitive modelling of information density for discourse relations" and with the ERC-funded project "Individualized Interaction in Discourse".

In my research, I investigate what readers helps to construct a coherent representation of a text and how individuals differ in their text comprehension and interpretation. In addition, I work on constructing and evaluating language corpora, with a focus on multiple interpretations and multi-labeled data.

In my research, I focus on the role of background knowledge in discourse inferences. In addition, I am interested in

  • coherence marking
  • predictive processing
  • individual differences
  • text comprehension
  • corpus construction
