I really enjoyed being able to experience a culture that is completely different from Asian cultures. What I found most impressive was the Campus Festival and the party culture you find in student residence halls. In Germany, students socialize and go out more than in South Korea. This meant I was able to make good friends faster. Plus, the sports programme here at the university is so great and helped me stay healthy while I was there.
Since Saarland University is a campus university and situated directly in nature, I always felt calm and relaxed. Saarland University has many exchange students, which made it possible to learn about other cultures as well as share my own.
