Shamik Mitra

Based on my knowledge acquired during my masters’ study at Saarland University, I was able to get into a PhD program under Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researcher fellowship and thus my career took a new direction. Also, in my current position as Data Scientist (Bioinformatics) at Helex, things I have learned during my masters are immensely helpful.

The multicultural learning environment that Saarland University provides together with its rigorous curriculum was highly beneficial for an international student like me.
