When I first came to Saarland University, I remember really appreciating how open and cosmopolitan the university was. In my first year, I met students from Burkina Faso and we became fast friends.
One thing I really liked about studying here is that the professors invited us to reflect and debate to a greater extent than we do at French universities. I found that the professors were very approachable and attentive with their students. I remember the university as a very warm and friendly place.
Another aspect that drew me to the university was its location in the border region. The cooperation between Saarland University and the university in Metz was and is a real benefit to the students. The Franco-German double degree programme opened a lot of doors for us.
