How to best provide modeling and simulation capabilities within a service-oriented it-systems architecture?

Technische Produkte sind zunehmend komplexe Systeme, die anwendungsspezifisch entwickelt, produziert und eingesetzt werden. Effizienz- und Nachhaltigkeitsziele beziehen sich auf den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus. Damit gehen große Herausforderungen hinsichtlich der Integration unterschiedlicher ingenieurwissenschaftlicher Kompetenzen einher. Das Projekt dient der Erforschung entsprechend zukunftsfähiger Lösungen. Es unterstützt u. a. die saarländische Innovationsstrategie in den Potenzialthemen Automotive und Produktion. Darüber hinaus versteht es sich auch längerfristig als Plattform für Kooperationen.

The combination of solar and heat pump systems is a promising concept for the energy supply of buildings with high amounts of renewable energies. The focus of the research project SolWP–Hybrid is the systematic analysis of solar and heat pump systems as hybrid systems for the heat and electricity supply of buildings by combining PVT and heat pumps with thermal and electrical energy storages.
