Business and Economics Education (M.Sc.)

Graduates in Business and Economics Education impart knowledge on business-related and economic topics. Apart from this special knowledge they also gained expertise in educational psychology and pedagogics. The consecutive Master's programme deepens and broadens the expertise gained in the Bachelor's programme.

At Saarland University, the M.Sc. programme mostly qualifies students to become teachers at vocational schools with a focus on economics and (business) administration. It equals the First State Examination (Erstes Staatsexamen) and allows graduates to enter their teacher training (Referendariat). Students can choose between two tracks of study according to the examination regulations of the degree program. Track I addresses students who tend towards a job in the professional world, whereas track II is the choice for students whose goal is a teaching position at a vocational school.
