Saarland – small in size, big in ideas

One of Saarland’s most attractive features is its unique location close to both France and Luxembourg. High-speed train services can take you to Paris in less than two hours, the city of Luxembourg is only a hundred kilometres away and it’s not far to Belgium either. Being located so close to France and Luxembourg means that many of the bus and rail services are cross-border services.
