Funding opportunities by "GradUS global"
What is the aim of "GradUS global"?
"GradUS global" is jointly offered by GradUS – the support centre for doctoral researchers – and the International Office at Saarland University. "GradUS global" provides various measures that foster internationalisation in Ph.D. research at Saarland University and adjacent research institutes. Doctoral researchers from Saarland University can benefit from funding opportunities that support international mobility, exchange, cooperation, and career development.
After expiry of a 4.5-years period of funding by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), "GradUS global" is now supported by Saarland University's presidency under the responsibility of the Vice-President for Internationalization and European Relations to further promote the internationalisation of doctoral research at Saarland University.
How can I benefit from "GradUS global"?
Doctoral researchers from all disciplines at Saarland University can apply for the funding opportunities that are provided by "GradUS global". Please refer to the section "Application" in order to get information on the current call for proposals, which describes the types of activities that can be supported.
"GradUS global" – initially promoted by the German Academic Exchange Service and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Since July 2019, the funding opportunities by "GradUS global" are sponsored by Saarland University's Presidency under the responsibility of the Vice-President for Internationalization and European Relations.
