Courses at CEFR levels A1 to C1
General German course (Allgemeiner Deutschkurs)
| Target group | Students of all faculties with German knowledge |
| Language levels | A1 to C1, several groups |
| Contents | General language skills: Reading comprehension, listening comprehension, oral fluency, grammar, written communication training |
Extent of lessons | 2 x 2 teaching units per week |
Schedule | 2x per week, usually from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The teaching days depend on the course. |
Course fee | For UdS students (incl. students in exchange programmes, e.g. ERASMUS+), doctoral students and postdocs of the UdS free of charge, teaching materials not included. |

| Registration | Registration is only possible within the specified registration period via the online registration form on our website. To do so, please check the desired semester in the semester courses. Registrations by e-mail will not be accepted. |
Placement test | Yes. All applicants must take a placement test (online!) within a certain period of time. For dates, see the semester courses in the desired semester. |
ECTS points | 6 ECTS points. Requirements: regular attendance, final exam |
