Language levels | from A2 to C1, in two groups |
| Contents | Typical speaking situations from university and everyday life, asking for and giving information, discussing, telephoning, "small talk", oral presentation, pronunciation correction, describing pictures and situations, presenting and discussing problems, strategies for listening comprehension |
Extent of lessons | 1 x 2 teaching units per week |
| Schedule | 1x per week in the afternoon or evening. The teaching days and times depend on the course. |
Course fee | For UdS students (incl. students in exchange programmes, e.g. ERASMUS+), doctoral students and postdocs of the UdS free of charge, teaching materials not included. All other participants pay per course 60 Euros / Semester. Teaching materials not included. |

| Registration | Registration is only possible within the specified registration period via the online registration form on our website. To do so, please check the desired semester in the semester courses. Registrations by e-mail will not be accepted. |
Placement test | Yes. All applicants must take a placement test (online!) within a certain period of time. For dates, see the semester courses in the desired semester. |
