Seit Dezember 2022 arbeitet Dr. Rosa M. Navarrete als Postdoktorandin und Lehrbeauftragte am Lehrstuhl für Politikwissenschaft mit Schwerpunkt Europäische Integration und Internationale Beziehungen im Fachbereich Gesellschaftswissenschaftliche Europaforschung der Universität des Saarlandes.

Zuvor war sie als Postdoc am MZES (Universität Mannheim), als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Vergleichende Regierungslehre an der Universität Mannheim, als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin für das Projekt "Democratic dissatisfaction in Southern Europe: the political consequences of the crisis” an der Universität York und als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Autonomen Universität Madrid tätig.

Sie hat Geschichte (B.A. + M.A.) an der Universität Complutense in Madrid studiert und hat einen M.A. in "Democracy and Government" an der Autonomen Universität Madrid absolviert. 2019 hat sie ihr Doktorat in Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Mannheim abgeschlossen. In ihrer Dissertation hat sie die Wirkung von Links-Rechts-Orientierungen auf das politische Verhalten untersucht. 

Ihre Forschungsinteressen sind unter anderem Text-als-Daten-Methoden, Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft, europäische Politik, politisches Verhalten und der Einfluss der Digitalisierung auf politische Einstellungen. Ihre Forschung ist in Electoral Studies, Party Politics, JEPOP, Comparative European Politics, European Politics and Society und Frontiers in Political Science erschienen.
