PBPK 2.0

Physiologically based pharmacokinetic models describe the path of a drug through all organs of the body. We develop these models further so that they also give reliable predictions for specific patient groups and rare diseases. This includes interactions between dosage forms, data from organ-on-a-chip systems and the combination with machine learning.

How we work

We build model networks of many drugs in PK-Sim and MoBi and evaluate them against clinical data. This produces digital twins that can be used to test dosing before a trial or for individual patients.

Models online

Our models are available from Open Systems Pharmacology on GitHub and at models.clinicalpharmacy.me.
