for Students
We're here for you.
The Career Center offers advice and guidance on all aspects of planning and starting your career journey. We focus on the practical aspects of transitioning from university to the world of work by providing services that help students acquire the practical and career-related skills that are relevant to their field of study. For example, we can help you to find a work placement, internship or student-trainee position. We'll help you acquire and develop career-relevant skills and connect with businesses and organizations that are looking to hire.
We know that entering the job market is a lengthy process – one that actually starts when you begin studying. That's why you can rely on us for career-related support at all stages of your degree programme. We're pleased to be able to offer a full range of services, such as our Career Portal, a variety of workshops and talks as well as large-scale events like our on-campus employment fair 'next' and its hybrid version 'next digital'. Our Student Career Roadmap has been specially designed for international students and sets out the key milestones on the journey from student to graduate employee.
