Would you like to draw attention to your company or organization on a permanent basis? Or do you regularly offer interesting recruiting events for students and graduates of Saarland University? Then a company profile is a good way to present your company or organization. With a company profile you can:
- present your company with a detailed profile
- create and manage job offers
- create and manage events
- manage applications
The publication of company profiles, job offers and recruiting events is free of charge for you and takes place after a successful check according to our quality criteria.
A Recruiter account allows you to post and manage job offers as well as applications. With a company profile you can present your company/organization on a separate page and also post recruiting events. Of course, a company profile also includes all functions of a Recruiter account.
Please note: It is not possible to have a Recruiter account and a company profile with the same email address at the same time or to combine them. If you are unsure which account type to start with, we recommend that you start with a Recruiter account.
There are no costs for creating a Recruiter account or a company profile and publishing job offers and recruiting events in the Career Portal of Saarland University Career Center.
The list of industries currently includes over 40 entries and should not become too small for the sake of clarity for students. Therefore, it is best to select the most similar industry from the list if your industry is not represented on the career portal.
You are using a paid service of JobTeaser SA:
Your job offers, recruiting events and your company profile are also published on the career portal of the Career Center of Saarland University via the JobTeaser network, so there is no need for you to take any action. If you have any questions, please contact the JobTeaser administrator of your company.
You already have access data for a Career Center by JobTeaser of another university:
Please create a separate Recruiter account or company profile for the Career Center of Saarland University career portal. Your access data are specific to the selected entity and can therefore only be used for this entity. When logging in with access data from another university, you will receive an error message.
It is not possible to have a Recruiter account and a company profile with the same email address at the same time or to combine them. If you want to switch from a Recruiter account to a Company Profile, you must first delete your Recruiter account (see below). You can then create a company profile for your company/organization. Please note that by doing so, you will also lose access to archived job offers from your Recruiter account. Alternatively, you can create a company profile using a different email address.
Of course. For simplicity’s sake, the term "company" is used synonymously for all employers in the career portal. You are also welcome to use the career portal as a public institution, club, association or similar.
We usually check incoming job offers, recruiting events and company profiles twice a week. Depending on the time at which you create a new offer, approval therefore takes up to three working days.
You can delete a Recruiter account on your own. To do this, first log into the Recruiter area and make sure that you currently have no active job offers. Then click on your name in the upper right hand corner. In the context menu that opens, select "Edit my profile". Now scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the red lettering "Delete my Recruiter account".
You cannot currently delete your company profile on your own. If you would like to delete your company profile, please first check that you do not currently have any active job offers and then send us an e-mail to career(at)uni-saarland.de
The career portal is primarily aimed at all students, graduates and alumni of Saarland University, but is also open to all other interested parties - we do not restrict access.
Questions about job offers
In order to publish a job offer on the career portal of the Career Center of Saarland University, you need a free Recruiter account or a company profile. We explain the differences above on this page, where you will also find instructions for creating an account as well as links to the corresponding areas of the career portal.
When you create a new job offer, the default publication period is 30 days, but you can adjust the period however you wish when you create the ad under "Archiving date".
The list of occupational fields currently contains over 40 entries and should not become too detailed for the sake of clarity for students. Therefore, it is best to select the most similar occupational field from the list if your occupational field is not represented in the career portal.
Keywords are an additional filter option for students to find suitable job offers. They are managed by the Career Center of Saarland University and added when the job offer is approved.
Since Saarland University has a very high proportion of international students, we would like to make it easier for them to filter job offers. Therefore, you can add the keyword "No German required" to your job offer on your own when creating it. It is intended to encourage students with little or no knowledge of German to apply for the job offered.
You can post job offers that are not specifically related to university studies on the online bulletin board of the Studierendenwerk Saarland by clicking on "Publish ad".
We only offer this service in justified exceptional cases. Please refrain from sending job offers by e-mail. You can post your job offers on the career portal yourself using a free Recruiter account.
Questions about recruiting events
You can only publish recruiting events with a company profile. If you previously used a Recruiter account, please see our instructions for switching to a company profile above. To create a recruiting event, please log in to the company area using the access data for your company profile. You can then create your recruiting event under the menu item "Events". Please note our quality criteria for publications in the career portal.
If you only want to publish one recruiting event in the career portal, please first create a company profile for the organizing company/organization. You only need to enter the mandatory information (name of the company/organization, industry, brief description, type of company and logo). You do not need a complete company profile to publish a recruiting event (the profile will also not be visible to students). You can then create your recruiting event under the menu item "Events". Please note our quality criteria for publications in the career portal.
Important: After creating your first event, please send us an e-mail to career(at)uni-saarland.de so that we can activate it. For further events this step is no longer necessary.
You can also find answers to many other questions, especially about using the career portal, in the JobTeaser Help Center. Your question was not answered or you need advice? Feel free to contact us by e-mail or phone.
