SafePolyMed
SafePolyMed: Innovation for safer medication use
Adverse drug reactions are a major health risk. In the EU-funded project SafePolyMed we developed the Medication Management Center (MMC), a tool that helps patients and healthcare professionals document and analyse complex drug interactions and genetic influences. Using artificial intelligence, machine learning and pharmacokinetic modelling, risks are detected early and personalised therapy decisions are supported. We tested the MMC in a proof-of-concept study with 120 patients. The study is complete and the analysis is under way.
