Forschungsschwerpunkte

Daniel Tjarks forscht an der Schnittstelle von Humangeographie, Politischer Ökonomie und Politikwissenschaft. Seine Arbeit befasst sich mit Urbanisierung, Stadtpolitik, Entwicklungsprozessen und Multi-Level-Governance. In seiner Promotion ‘Who governs in and beyond the metropolis? A multilevel governance assessment of power in urban Angola’ analysierte er Machtstrukturen und Politik im angolanischen Stadtsystem.
