Online Babysitting Database

How does it work?

The aim of the babysitting database is to support parents - employees and students alike -in the event of short-term childcare shortages, unscheduled appointments or during the exam period, but also for private care at home.
It was created in a joint project with the AStA of Saarland University.

• The Family Office manages a pool of babysitters and enables you to contact them: either directly via the form on our website or through us:  familie(at)uni-saarland.de.
• The details of the care as well as the contractual and financial framework are agreed between parents and babysitters.
• In the case of work or study-related reasons, costs can be reimbursed within the framework of  short-term care.
