European University – Transform4Europe
Transform4Europe is an alliance of seven European universities. The idea behind the Transform4Europe Track programme is to provide young Europeans with the knowledge and skills required to shape the future of Europe through sustainable transformation processes.
Transform4Europe Tracks are additional qualifications that students can aquire while studying for their regular degree programme. Students are required to earn up to 24 ECTS credits. Students can choose modules, classes, areas of specialization and the universities that best reflect their individual interests. Physical or virtual international mobility is a mandatory part of the programme. T4E tracks are open to students of all subjects and qualification levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD).
Structure and Content Transform4Europe Tracks
The Transform4Europe Tracks offered consist of common core modules in the areas: 'Knowledge Entrepreneurship', 'Languages & Intercultural Competencies' and 'European History, Politics, Culture, Law, Economy'.
Each student has the opportunity to select an optional challenge-based module from one of the three Transform4Europe focus areas of 'Digitalization', 'Ecology and Sustainability' or 'Social Change and Inclusion'.
Knowledge Entrepreneurship: Knowledge Entrepreneurship combines entrepreneurial knowledge with an understanding of change management and transformation processes.
Languages and Intercultural Competencies: In this module you can choose language classes in modern European languages or take classes that examine and discuss the theoretical ideas that underpin intercultural studies.
European History, Politics, Culture, Law and Economy: This module includes classes that address issues of European history, politics, culture, law and economics.
All students have to gain credits from the common core modules. You can choose classes from your home university or from the common course catalogue.
Option 1: Challenge-based track "Digital Transformation and Smart Regions"
Option 2: Challenge-based track "Environmental Transformation and Sustainability"
Option 3: Challenge-based track: "Societal Transformation, Community Building and Inclusion"
Select one of these three transformation tracks based on your individual interests and requirements. You can choose classes from your home university or from the common course catalogue.
Physical or virtual Mobility is an obligatory element in the Transform4Europe tracks programme.
