Onboarding for First-Semester Students: Digital Learning Platforms
How to begin your studies at Saarland University? At the start of the 2026 summer semester, we will introduce you to three essential learning platforms: LSF (course portal), Microsoft Teams (chat-based collaboration space), and Moodle (learning management system). These are the main digital platforms used for teaching and learning at Saarland University (UdS).
You will also receive other useful tips and information about free courses and digital resources available with campus licences, such as Turnitin, AI tools for study and the UdS app. The sessions (available online) will be offered in German and English. Each session provides step-by-step introductions to the platforms, followed by a Q&A session.
