Intensive Courses

Fancy something short and sweet? Intensive Courses in September/October 2026

To give you a quick start we are once again offering intensive courses before the general start of the winter semester. These are full courses delivered in a short time frame, allowing you to immediately follow up with a semester course to reinforce and build on what you’ve learned.

Each course runs for 8 days, covering the same content as a semester course (2 hours per week over the semester). You complete the intensive course before the official registration period for winter semester courses begins. This means you can register directly for a follow-up course – in time for the early registration period for follw-up course. This is a highly efficient way to make the most of your time: with just a week and a half of extra effort, you can complete the equivalent of an entire semester.

• Course period: 28 September - 7 October 2026
• Languages offered: detailed information will follow in our course programme
• Please make sure to set aside enough time for homework and independent study.

Course Registration:
The courses are free of charge. Registration is available exclusively via our online booking system. 

Course Requirements:

• You need an active user account with the Language Centre. If you do not yet have one – or if it needs to be reactivated – please follow the instructions.
• If applicable, a placement test (depending on the language; see further information under Placement Test).
