Guest students

  • You are not studying or working at Saarland University (UdS)?
  • You are not enroled in the University of the Greater Region (Metz, Nancy, Luxembourg, Liège, Trier, or Kaiserslautern)?
  • You are not a student at a partner institution within the Southwest University Alliance (UdS, HTW, Technical University of Kaiserslautern, University of Koblenz-Landau, University of Trier)?
     

In that case, you must enrol as a guest student in order to take part in courses at the Language Centre.
IMPORTANT: Students from Trier University of Applied Sciences, Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, the University of Fine Arts, and the University of Music are NOT part of the Southwest University Alliance and must therefore also register as guest students.

Four Steps to Course Registration

  1. First, register as a guest student at Saarland University via the Centre for Lifelong Learning (ZeLL) to be eligible to participate in our courses.

  2. Then, register online as a user of the Language Centre. Please make a note of your user number provided at registration. You won’t receive a separate confirmation email, but you’ll need this number to sign up for courses later.

  3. Send your proof of guest student enrolment to our Service Point by e-mail in PDF form to: service(at)szsb.uni-saarland.de , or bring it in person to Building C5 4, Room 3.01.
    Please note: guest student status is valid for one semester only and must be renewed each semester through both ZeLL and the Language Centre. Sie senden Ihren Gasthörerschein per Mail als pdf an unseren Service-Punkt: service(at)szsb.uni-saarland.de
  4. You may register for up to three courses.
