Are you planning to do a medical internship in an English-speaking country? Or would you simply like to prepare for working with English-speaking patients in the future? Whatever your goal – we have the right course for you!
Our B2 English – Medical English course takes place on the Homburg campus and prepares medical students for their future careers in a multicultural environment. You'll have the opportunity to practise communicating with patients and colleagues in realistic scenarios while learning common medical terminology (including correct pronunciation). You'll also improve your reading and listening comprehension using semi-technical texts and radio programmes about common medical conditions and topics relevant to the medical community.
Of course, the Language Centre at Saarland University also offers a wide range of other English courses. Most of these are held on the Saarbrücken campus, but they are free of charge for all students and staff of Saarland University. Take a look at our full course programme (English courses)!
