On Mathematics Day, participants from all over Saarland come together at the university and tackle mathematical problems that can be solved with school material and cover all areas of mathematics, such as geometry, algebra and stochastics. In a two-part team competition, teams of two or three participants compete against each other: in the first round, the aim is to solve four tricky problems together.
