Digital transformation – A key priority of our time

Saarland University explores digitalization and digital transformation in both research and teaching. To steer cross-cutting topics in these fields, the university has developed a digital strategy and created the role of Chief Digital Officer (CDO), who is supported by a dedicated service and support unit.

Building on the considerable progress that has been achieved in recent years, Saarland University has established itself as a pioneer in the digital transformation of the German higher education sector.
