Welcome event

Welcome to the academic year 2026/27

The start-of-year welcome event 2026/27 will take place on Monday, 12 October 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Audimax building (B4 1). All members of the Saarland University community are encouraged to attend.

The event will be accompanied by live English interpretation. All you need is a mobile phone or tablet/laptop and your own headphones. Scan the QR code or click the Teams link below to listen to the live English interpretation.

The Microsoft Teams app is required in order to join from your smartphone. If using a computer, it is also possible to join from a browser. You can either sign in using your UdS ID code or join as a guest. The event will not be broadcast live and only the English interpretation will be available. The microphone, camera and chat functions will be turned off.
