The application process is the same as in the student dormitories in Saarbrücken. Please complete the online application to be placed on the waiting list. As a rule, the waiting time is 1-2 semesters.

Private market

The majority of our students live on the private market. Finding a room on the private market offers the largest selection and most available rooms. On the private market, you can expect to pay between 300 and 450 euros per month for a room and 550 euros or more for a single flat. Please note that most rooms are rented unfurnished. We therefore recommend that you read the flat adverts carefully.

In Homburg, there are several private flats on offer in the vicinity of the University Hospital. The neighbourhoods ‘Kirrberg’, ‘Einöd’ and Schwarzenbach can also be considered for accommodation.
