Die saarländische Landesregierung fördert zwei Forschungsprojekte zum Thema nachhaltige Energieversorgung mit insgesamt knapp 56 Millionen Euro aus dem Transformationsfonds. An beiden ist auch die Universität des Saarlandes maßgeblich beteiligt.
